Remember back in January how we started a freezing cold day in Newcastle…? Our gazebo decided to take a dip in the river Tyne. There’s even video evidence… ❄
Good thing we had some of Mouhyedin’s shurbat addes – spiced red lentil soup – to warm us up.
The Sunday market on the Quayside runs from 9-4 and is full of independent traders selling crafts, goods and local produce. There’s a mix of artists, designers, artisans, food stalls, photographers, ceramic artists and fashion boutiques as well as street artists and buskers. It’s well worth a visit!
